When Choosing VSPC
For the best performance, look for flooring with a 20-mil wear layer for high-traffic areas.
● Wear Layer: For residential use, 20 mil is recommended, though budget options exist with 6-12 mil.
● Material: Comprised of a rigid core layer of limestone and stabilizers.
VSPC vs. Other Flooring Types
● VSPC vs. WPC (Wood Plastic Composite): VSPC is thinner and denser, offering better dent resistance, whereas WPC is warmer and quieter underfoot.
● VSPC vs. Hardwood: VSPC is more water-resistant, durable, and generally cheaper, but it does not add the same property value as natural wood.
● VSPC vs. Laminate: VSPC outperforms laminate in moisture-heavy areas, as it does not swell, bend, or experience damage from water.
